Tae Kwon Do ranks are typically separated into “junior” and “senior” sections referred to as “color belts” and “black belts.” To advance from a rank to the next, students must pass a promotion test that reflects the various aspects of Tae Kwon Do.
In Tae Kwon Do our belts reflect each member’s established and proven level of skill and capability. Each belt achieved is truly and accomplishment worthy of respect. Time is not a factor of whether or not a member reaches the next level, it is the ability of the member to demonstrate their proficiency in their current belt techniques including basic moves, sparing and forms.
